This is a original HGU 2AP/G flight helmet came from an retired German Airforce Pilot ,this helmet is a very rare piece in very good used condition,helmet is size Medium, helmet ist original painted white ,he has a dark and clear visor, these housings were used with the GAF with this paint finish,include is the original MS 22001 Oxygen Mask size Medium with bayos and connector Helmet and Mask are in some flight use original condition, helmet and mask is date 1959/60 65 years old, beautiful original helmet for display ! I purchased this helmet, complete with mask and helmet bag, directly from the pilot. The helmet was used by the pilot between 1969 and 1975 in the Fiat G-91 at the Fürstenfeldbruck, Leipheim, and Pferdsfeld (Bad Sobernheim/Nahe) airfields. At the end of 1975, he switched to the F-4F Phantom, where he then used other (better) helmets and also the second helmet bag. I know the pilot’s name. The helmet has some flight use with the corresponding signs of wear. The dark and clear visor appears to have been replaced before it was retired. Unfortunately, the outer canopy protective band is badly damaged from use. One of the earpieces is also damaged but repaired. The mask has some small, damaged rubber parts, consistent with its age. I only cleaned the helmet because it was very dirty due to its age. All parts are still original,Helmet has no breaks or cracks in the shell, The larger bag has the pilot’s name on it. Both bags are and the patch and sticker is cluded.Please note that all our items are pure collector items or display items.
