This listing is for a British Royal Air Force Alpha Mk.10B helicopter pilot helmet size Large ,original bright gray painted, Introduced in the late 1980s, the Alpha Mk.10B was not standard issue for all aircrew; these advanced helmets were initially used only by select squadrons and remain in limited service today. The helmet shell is constructed from lightweight Kevlar and fiberglass resin and is lined with shock-absorbing foam. It features an adjustable leather liner as well as mounts for the neck pad and ear cups. The avionics system includes two speakers with a connecting cable and a single-pin NATO plug. The helmet does have mounting blocks for attaching P- or Q-type oxygen masks (see pictures) !!!, The black plastic cover over the avionics cable is damaged and partially detached (see pictures)A problem that all these helmets have, This helmet features a fixed black visor housing and was manufactured by Helmets Limited include is a green lip light and a original helmet bag, Note that all our items are pure collector items or display items.
